Worried about his wife Solange's unexplained depression, Raoul recruits another man, Stéphane, to become her lover as well, hoping a change might lift her spirits, but neither man's attention cures what ails her. When the trio takes summer jobs at a boys' camp, Solange becomes fixated on Christian, a bullied 13-year-old math prodigy, and begins an affair with him that unsettles even the two men who orchestrated her earlier arrangement. Bertrand Blier's provocative comedy follows Solange's search for fulfillment through increasingly transgressive relationships that none of the men around her can fully understand or contain.
