Gloria

In the South Bronx, former mob girlfriend Gloria Swenson is unwillingly drawn into protecting a neighbor's young son, Phil, after his family is marked for death by mobsters seeking a ledger that could incriminate them. Gloria and Phil go on the run through New York City, dodging gunmen while an unlikely bond forms between the tough, streetwise woman and the frightened boy. After a series of narrow escapes and shootouts, Gloria confronts the mob boss directly to trade the ledger for their safety. The film closes with Gloria and Phil reuniting after he flees to Pittsburgh.
